Dear Lenders and Title Companies
If you have to litter your closing packages with 20 pages of instructions on how/where to sign a document that should probably tell you all you need to know about your business model. Good job guys.

I actually used to agree with you. Then one day, I seen another notaries work. You have no idea how bad some of it is.. OMG.. How do they even manage to get calls. You would be surprised. I just think there should be a required certification, or schooling or something to do this job. I would pass with flying colors. I think a lot of others would too. But man some sure as heck would not. It would eliminate the bad seeds and hopefully all of that unneeded paperwork.

and I am not talking an online certification. I mean a course with a test. The whole nine yards.

No, that means that the TC's need to use qualified people
and stop looking for the notary that is on Blue Light Special that week. If they were to find good and qualified NSA's and stay with them (which means pay a professional fee for professional work) then there would not be this need of so many instructions from the TC's or the SS companies.
If they want to continue to hire unqualified people because they are looking for the cheapest of the cheapest in town, they can send them those long lists of instructions and for the professional ones they can leave them off.
I have a few companies that still call that I know are lowball companies because they used to meet my fees years ago. I have a list of them that I do not accept work from, even when they agree to meet my fees. A low ball accepting notary is what they wanted, now they have to work with what they were looking for. Loyalty has its advantage in my book.
