Dial My Call, 502-412-7950
It's an automated system that tells you there's a signing available in ____ city on _____ date at ______ time for $_____. Then, it gives you the option to press __ to accept or __ to decline.
Today, I received my first call from them at 2:57 for signing 50-minute drive from me for $85. I pressed the decline button.
At 3:29 another call for same. This time, I just hung up.
Half an hour later, another call. This time from Loan Processing Center in KY. He said they just started with the Dial My Call system and would like my feedback and had I received a call. Told him I'd declined at first call and hung up the 2nd time. Apparently, the declined did not register. Told him I did not care for the system because I like to talk to a PERSON so I can ask the pertinent questions about a signing. Further advised him I have a base fee which is influenced by various factors -- i.e. additional distance, faxbacks, POA's, Trust, etc. He said if an NSA is available for a particular job and accepts, then they do a follow-up call with all the particulars and, if needed, additional fees could be negotiated. Told him, nope. Don't like it. Why waste my time and phone minutes when it could all be taken care of in one phone call rather than 2 or more?
Guess I'll block that phone number .......

Wow! I like automation, but, heck, this is crazy. Now, if they offer twice the amount to begin with, then it may be a different story. What will they think of next.

This is amusing. I guess they're trying a new approach
since very few people respond to the emails. :-(

I received the same call, at the same times, probably for the same signing, with the same results! I don't care for this approach. I prefer to speak to a real person as well, or at least an email/text from a real person. I guess they couldn't handle the humiliation any longer.

Or throwing out a wider net to see what they catch.
