Droid Razor Maxx mobile phone had a glitch

Running around like a fool all day getting several packages signed with very high end borrowers, just a little stressful meeting their quirky schedules...On my way back for one last signing, my phone died, completely, way before the battery power icon was below 30%...what the heck was that about, well...I stopped into Verizon, I had no idea what the problem could be....since I live in the middle of nowhere, I didn't want to be without my phone 15 miles each way to civilization.

Turned out, battery was fine. The technician said this phone has a glitch. He reset it by holding down volume up and down and the power button at the same time for 20 seconds to reset the handset.

Anyone else had this issue? I've only had this phone since June this year. Thankfully, I missed no calls or text messages, it was around 6:30pm when I got to Verizon and get up and running in about 20 minutes. Always a waiting line to get help.

Maybe it's the charger?

Thanks for the heads up. I, too, have Verizon and I've been contemplating upgrading to either the Razr Maxx or the Samsung Galaxy S III. Have always had good luck with Motorola and have never had a Samsung.

Did Verizon say it was just your unit or an inherent issue with all Razr Maxx?

I got a great deal on the MAXX at Costco.

I preferred the Maxx over the Samsung (I have the Galaxy 2 10.1 tablet which is phenomenal) because it has 24 hours of talk time. That was crucial to me. The Droid Razr M is the next best IMHO.
