I have 4, all spaced just perfect time and distance. Have docs for 2.

Must be regional
Turned down at least five for tonight, and at least six for tomorrow (stopped counting) All $125's + within 15 miles.

Re: Must be regional
Yes, it must be. There's so much work here. I was fully booked by Wed., and have been turning away lots of call. I book up well in advance now, and there's no openings for the last minute stuff that is par for the course. I know there's lot of notaries in the area, so someone should be able to cover them.

Re: Same here. All I got today were losers and lowball offers.
I'm pretty much done with them (losers and lowball) and having another income really helps. My thrust has been the "Let's get all our affairs in order" paperwork, usually done during their final moments: Wills, Living Wills, POA's, advanced directive. We talked about Terry Schivo today along with some great moments had by my client over 50 years with her 2 witnesses. Tube feeding has fun facts with it
I didn't make enough money today, but my heart is full. I'm finding that I really like this part of the general notary work. The hospitals were my starting point. I now see other actions to take to round this out to a good income stream.
Lots of elderly in FL - tis the season of the Snowbirds upon us. I believe my age works for me here. Now just get the pricing down pat.

I only had 1 scheduled for tomorrow prior to today. Now I have 4 scheduled, I hope I get 4 more for the last minute ones tomorrow. I will take all I can squeeze in, even if I don't get home til midnight.

Yes, for sure, same here : )
Everyone is better served with consistency throughout the month -especially the borrowers. The mad rush leads to heightened stress on many levels. Each NSA has to do what’s best for them. Trial and error will get you there. Me? After lots of trial and errors I’d much rather not relive, I’ve learned that moderation is key. Overall, EOM is not what it used to be on my end. Thank God.

Re: EOM..I've noticed more consistency throughout the month
Been steadily busy this month. I swear my EOM was Wednesday with 4 signings and I had to decline a few due to time constraints. Today I had 2 and decline 2 (All wanted evening appts and no guarantee on docs for the 2 I declined) and Friday is looking slow so far. Only 2 lined up - but I'm sure the phone will ring with last minute closings. I only take them from my good clients at EOM.

Re: EOM..I've noticed more consistency throughout the month
Seems like we are in the same boat here in CA. I had one yesterday and two today. I turned down two for today that were too far away to manage in Friday night rush hour. I've noticed that the first week of the month is usually very dead, then it picks up for the other three weeks, which is fine with me.
