So as far as I know Chase is the only Lender requiring this form (according to LSI & Service Link) but FASS wants this done with all their Loan Pkgs. I believe my fee to FASS is going up and if they won't pay more then I won't be doing any more loans for them.

I just did my first one for Chase, for LSI, with the same form. It really is not that big of a deal.

I think I'm just Venting because I am soooo unhappy with Chase They are idiots, I feel sorry for people that refi thru them with the no cost refi.....its a LIE, I am refinancing a property that they hold the mortgage on, started in middle of August, get a phone call this morning from Processor asking which property we are refying..DUH the one you are holding the mortgage on. Also requested my own Title Co, they gave it to FASS anyway, this is one that may not close.

WAKE UP PEOPLE

Um I think more work = more work. More work should = more money, but it's tough out there. I kind of like more Money + less work = more profit, but what the heck, I'm just a notary! E=MC2

You slacker, you!

Well, I'm right there with you. Can't take the labor intensive companies. As soon as I figure out the formula is not working, I ditch the micromanaging, nitpicking vendors and find relationships that work for me.

No more crappy work!

Why not the lender loan #, since that's the loan the docs

are pertaining anyway? Without the loan # they can attach the list to any other set of docs.

Try this on for size, Bonnie

Dear Bonnie,

I wrote message 439537 yesterday. Nothing profound. No one will learn anything that will change their life or perhaps even interest them. But I went through the same internal hissy-fit that you did (and I am sure many others experienced - and probably rightfully) But.. I ended my post with

Do I wish I did not have to do this Of Course. It does help my bookkeepiing btw, because I am at a point that I don't care about SS credits. But I also whined (albeit "internally" this time) about this form. You really don't have a choice except tell them no way. In which case, you're done.

Just think about it.

Good luck with this. Smile

Fass just iritates me, they schedule closings, and then they cancel them with out ever letting you know, you go to the site cking for Docs and it says Evaluated Out, I called and asked what that meant and they stated its canceled and they have too many to let the Notaries know, so that time slot is wasted, especially when you turn down other companies. And you are correct I will do the form, but probably not for them

Bonnie, I hear everything you are saying and I do not disagree with ONE thing that you are saying. Here is the thing. They are in fact a big company. No doubt. Choose your battles. When they hit you with ridiculous quality issues that you know are not yours, fight them. YES, absolutely. Do not take a fee less that you think you should or are willing to accept. Whatever you think they will not hold it against you. And do not take personally. But aside from all of this the have strange things that they want. Having said that, if YOU, note I said YOU, feel you can live with this and it is worth it to YOU, to put up with the craziness, do it.. If not, cut them loose. For me, I do my hissy-fit when required privately. Know that they pay at the end of every week. i know they do know maintain the standards of loyalty we might hope for. But it is like having a friend who we know what we can expect but want them in out life anyhow, In this case,, we get paid. Now I have said that. But you must make that decision for you as a business decision, (Get that BUSINESS DECISION) nothing more or less as to whether you want to keep them on or not. And NOBODY on this forum can make this decision for you.

Again, this is my opion lol Barbara

Be not afraid

Market, market, market some more.

Go get yourself some new companies so you don't have to be a wh**e to that one.

It is amazing that once you let one go. the others just start calling out of no where with better fees, terms, and payment schedules.

My life as become much easier, early docs and fast pay.

Very true

I had an employer one time who always used to say It is better to have 10 small accounts than 1 big account. The reasons are obvious. Lose 1 in 10 and you've only lost 10%... The other, well.
