FRIDAY NIGHT VENT!
I want to say I am done with signings for TRG. I spend SOOOOOOOOOO much time on their stuff - not able to download their docs because I own a MAC (and before it starts, no, I'm not going to go out and buy a PC!!), one department says they can e-mail the docs with management approval and another says they can't, people say they are going to call you back with info you need and they forget to get back to you, signings are constantly cancelled, I could go on and on.
Read my lips: I'm done TRG!

Closed for TRG 9/24. Paid 10/5.Standard $XXX fee.
I have emailed them to let them know that my desktop and my laptop are both PCs, not like that whiny woman up in Oregon. Pointed out they'd never have to coddle me, because I use a real computer. Told them they should not feel badly toward that grumbler in Oregon; some people just insist on swimming upstream, but that isn't a problem for us PC users, because there's an app for that.

I work for other companies that pay my asking fees ($XXX - $XXX) without question and in a very timely fashion. I appreciate doing business with them and they seem to appreciate me as well. No problems with my MAC in downloading docs and you call ONE number to get an answer to any question that arises. They are polite. They cancel rarely and instead re-schedule appointments.
What do I need TRG for, except ongoing misery?
I'm glad TRG has a committed notary like you, Hugh.

There are some companies that are like that. I understand writing them off...have done so in the past, but in retrospect would have been better off to be "unavailable" than to slam a gate and burn a bridge.
Once in a blue moon, they do get a new client and improve their practices.
The older I get, the less bridges I burn.

Let me add...does not apply to deadbeats.
Just to those like you have described.

Kinda like a gardener that will not buy a power mower because his push mower is good enough, then comes to mow my 4000 square foot lawn and wonders why it took so long.
Toy could by a cheap laptop transfer the pdf to it and print from there, but hey it might cost you about 1/2 the price of one job to save the headache. Keep popping those aspirin!

After they told me I needed to buy a new computer (I am not using Mac) when they were the only one with the problems I was encountering, I let them go. Others in CA and other places were telling me that they also had those 'unable to download' issues as well.
I do not miss them - they kept getting lower and lower in Orlando, and $80 was their target fee. Guess they found that notary(ies).

Karla, you had this vent about your mac computer
and were given several options, ideas on how to fix this, yet you choose not to, so you keep having the same issues. See your msg 434765. And just how is this TRG's fault?? I know its frustrating, but it is what it is. Either you have to fix it yourself or move on. You're going to find yourself with the same frustrations with other companies too and you'll be on here venting again. I know there are other issues you are having with TRG, but if you could download the docs, the rest you could have dealt with.

Re: Karla, you had this vent about your mac computer
Apparently I was not clear for the reason for my post. It was NOT specifically directed to the download of docs, although that was part of it. I have experienced continuing internal issues with them as well - you might want to re-read the post and not just zero in on the MAC. BTW, there are NO options, i.e., Internet Explorer. It does not support MAC. Yes, my previous post that you cited WAS directed solely at the problems I was experiencing with that issue. This one, not so much.
As stated in my current post from yesterday, it was TRG in general and all the various problems I have dealt with as of late that has caused me to spend way more time than I now want to. I have many other companies that I love working with and they seem to appreciate me as well. I do not have computer or internal issues with these companies that cause me to feel the way I do with TRG.

TRG called me today to confirm for third time on same loan
One that I had confirmed on their web site the day I received the assignment plus emailing all parties with confirmation noting I had called borrower. the gal who called today said she was in a different department. ummm, do they not have a computer generated tracking system? If only they would spend half as much time getting docs out on time as they do with all the pre-signing calls .... I totally get your frustration.

Re: TRG called me today to confirm for third time on same loan
If I had been called for the 3rd time on the same loan before it even took place, I probably would have turned it back to them. I can't stand the hand holding. Of course call me if you need to discuss something about the loan, but for heaven's sake don't keep calling me about the confirmation.

Re: TRG called me today to confirm for third time on same loan
Thanks Donna~ that's exactly what I'm talking about - one department doesn't know what the other is doing and you never can reach anyone let alone the right department. Just too time consuming for me - I will put my efforts elsewhere.

Oh no Karla I wasn't lecturing. I am agreeing with you. I too had similar experiences and since I moved on, I am so much happier. You will be too now that you let TRG go.
The only thing that I didn't agree with in your original post was about the Mac. Since you are well aware that you cannot download some companies docs, venting about that isn't going to help. It's been twice now. My son has a mac and he loves it.

The MAC is no problem until you have to deal with SS's!!
