HP Printer Problem

I have an HP Laser jet P2035 that has been working great until today, I was printing 2 sets of loan docs approx 130 pages each and on 2 of the pages bold black lines were streaked acrossed the page, the pages were not close together and it was the same two pages that had the streaks in the borrowers copy and in the signed copies. I checked the pages in the file that was sent to me and they were fine. I tried printing those two pages on my other printer and they printed fine. Anyone ever experience anything like this?

I know exactly what you are talking about. I have it happen quite often with my HP. It is mostly with Bank of America packages. Have never been able to figure it out.

Same here. It only happens with B of A, or Chase Loans from LSI. B of A is the worst. Can never print and run on these, always have to check every page of both packages. I have an HP P1006.

Re: Same here HP P2055d

My problem is always on the 2nd print (borrowers copy) the FedEx label and the quit claims deed are always "washed out" black lines.

I end up closing the .pdf and opening it again to print the pages that were bad, sometimes it doesnt work and i end up printing 1 or 2 pages on my old HP all in one.

Re: Same here HP P2055d

This was a BofA closing and one of the pages that would not print correctly was the FedEx label. That is so strange.

Yep same problem Can't figure it out. Just happens once in a while, like when you are in a hurry. Sometimes I will try printing on another printer but the same issue. Sometimes I just shut down everything and start over then it's a go. I have HP 3120s.

Re: If the Fed Ex lable was scaned in as a photo...

Laser printers can not print photo's or documents that are scaned as a photo. When that happens you have to print the lable on an ink jet printer.

Re: If the Fed Ex lable was scaned in as a photo...

I think if I kept having issues with documents, especially the FedEx shipping label, I would just make my own shipping label and explain that it will not print properly; hence, the handwritten one with the docs. As far as other docs that do not print well, I would do the best I could and let the SS know the docs were corrupt and this was the best I could do. I know this sounds bi***y, but sometimes it is necessary to draw a line and let the responsible person take responsibility for the bad or corrupt docs. Maybe there is a technology issue that is not being brought to their attention, so how else does it get fixed if people don't complain???????

I posted about this before and gave the solution to the problem. This is not an image or photo file problem inside of PDF docs. The problem is Adobe acrobat from which the docs are placed into pdf format. When you use Adobe X reader, you must close out the document file and reload it for the second copy set to print, (borrower) docs. Also you must not click on something else while this is printing or the glitch will reappear. This worked for me and I have never had a problem since. There is a glitch that has been fixed in the very latest Adobe X pac udate. You have to uninstall adobe and reinstall a fresh ap to fix this.
