How to Get Started
1- Learn all you can.
2- Read this forum daily.
3- Try reading from Msg # 1 and come forward; read daily. No, seriously. You need to do that. Good training in those archives.
4- Find sample loan docs and review them until you can recite from them. Google and find a set.
5- Get a professional photo of yourself. Don't pose in your swimsuit or softball sweats. Upload it to your profiles.
6- Join this site. It is the best investment you will ever make.Set up a good profile.
7- Signing Central is the bomb. Use it.
8- Make darn sure you know how to do your notary work.
9- Practice introducing documents with one sentence.
10- Buy the Signing Agent manual on this site. Study it. It has loan docs in it.
11- Buy a laser printer. Read up on what this forum recommends.
12- If you are not going to spend the money to join this site, you may not be ready for this business.
13- Figure out your fees. Make a chart of how much and where you will go for what fee.
14- Contact at least 100 companies.
15- Get business cards and a website.
16- Advertise yourself for free in unlimited places on the net.
15- If you still have not gotten started after that, ask specific questions. "How to get started" is in this list.
