I love what I do

Been up since 6am and first signing was at 9am. Had docs for all of todays signing yesterday. I was amazed I didnt have to go back and forth. Was able to snag 3 last minute assignments. Just finished at 10pm. Now preparing for tomorrow, first signing at 9am.

Excellent Toni. Was thanking God myself. Best year yet and

this month is best month in eight years by over 1200.

Thank God for what he gives us.

I think a lot of us will be up LATE tonight. No docs for my late a.m. signing tomorrow. You docs for all a day early? What do you know that I don't? (:

lol I know nothing. All I know is they came in early yesterday. Even had some come in like midnight, 1am. I got my early morning docs already. So Im good to go for my 2 mornings. Waiting on the rest.

Yesterday I didnt get home till 1130. today 10. Tomorrow Im figuring really late. I stopped answering my phone after 8pm today. Im booked solid tomorrow. No room for last minutes unless I get some last minute cancellations or no docs by the cut off time.

lol maybe it would help to say most of my signings today were Quicken. Did I mention how much I love doing Quicken loans? lol

I got up at 5:30 AM to begin printing for my 7 closings

today. First one at 9 AM. All docs were waiting for me in my inbox. Last set of docs hit my inbox at 10:30 PM last night. After seven years in this biz, I have established some great clients that will move heaven and earth to get their docs out in time for their notaries and borrowers to have a smooth day.

I turned down all clients for today that are known for late docs and/or lower pay.

It's it fantastic to be able to do that - finally it seems we can be picky.

Good luck today! Fill that gas tank, pack some water and snacks. It's almost the same as preparing for a hurricane/snowstorm.

Funny you should mention that, anotaryinva, I turned down some closings today so I could prepare for Hurricane Sandy. (Sandy isn't due here til Sunday at the earliest, but today is the last dry day to work outdoors.)

Printing with the roosters at dawn? My HOA would be appalled. So would my neighbors (but fortunately end unit TH, so just on 1 side). But those that have the luxury of SFHs (:

I, too, am grateful for volume in business and with great clients. Over the top month...best month I've had in years.

BTW, FASS called me half a dozen times this week with assignments. Had to turn them down, too much drama for $35. I'm so booked today back to back from 8am to 5pm so far that I won't be able to squeeze another signing in, and that's a good thing. I'm planning on getting home early tonight for dinner and get to bed early...New roof this weekend, lots of workers around so gotta be on my toes as the go to supply person.

WOW

Your fee must be extremely good/low to be that busy. I don't know what you charge and I don't care to know, but $75, $90 or even $100 doesn't do it for me.

Re: WOW

My car doesn't start for under $100. Fees range from that to $200 per signing. No low fees for me...not worth it! These are gravy days. Who knows for how long, but for now, I'm stockpiling.
