Re: Missing 1003
Entered too quickly.. In the past couple of months, I have had four (4) Signing Companies call me to tell me that the 1003 is missing from the package they received from me. I have page separator, which means that I physically have to touch each page to put them back in stacking order, so I know that I'm not missing any pages. Luckily I have not been charged for an errosr (which in itself is a little suspicious to me) but do you think that title needs 2 original 1003's and this is their excuse for trying to get me to go out and have another 1003 signed? Anyone else with this problem?

Re: Missing 1003
Did the notary instructions say anything about printing a second copy of the 1003? Did the confirmation say anything about printing a second 1003? If not, then I would stand my ground that it is their error and charge them for the service

Re: Missing 1003
No notary instructions for a second 1003...AND with this last 1003 incident, I distinctly remember the conversation we had when signing the 1003 (oddly enough). I was told by the signing company that it was my word against theirs, and they would not be charging me. Luckily this one, I don't have to go out again...signing company taking care of it :/

Re: Missing 1003
If I were you, I would make a mental note to make sure that you have the 1003 in every package after printing. It is just so unusual to have one missing, even more so, so many times.

Re: Missing 1003
I had my first Chase loan where I used the new form. It was not included in the pkg but I had saved it on my computer. Also, there was no mention of it in the Notary Instructions. It took me 5 min to fill it out. Not happy but it's not a deal breaker....

Re: Missing 1003
I had a closing the other day that did not have any 1003. It was a refi loan too. I called the TC they were in CA Im in Ohio and of course the closing was scheduled before they opened. I had printed docs late the night before. I called and emailed the TC I never did get a reply.

Re: Missing 1003
I have had a couple of signings in which the 1003 was missing. One time I called the escrow team in charge about it and was told it wasn't a big deal, not as critical as a missing HUD or Noe.

Re: Missing 1003
I had this happen to me with a DOT, I was so mad. It was a Sellers Package and they needed the docs faxed back ASAP. The DOT was in the middle of the package I took it from my tray and put into the envelope however the DOT was the only doc 'that they didn't receive'
