My EOM strategy

I have been turning down signings all week that are not close to home. After years of running myself ragged trying to drive all over, docs being late, etc. I have made it my personal rule that i will not accept signings on the last day of the month that are too far away. It's just not worth it to me anymore. It's not economical (faraway closings mean more $$, but I could do more signings if I wasn't spending my time on the road) . It stresses me out too--I don't want to walk out the door unless I have all my docs for the evening (good luck with that) because it's too far to run back home again. sometimes I think I must be crazy turning down work, but it usually works out and i get plenty of work to fill my evening. If not, I save myself some aggravation!

they don't pay MY fee...distance has everything to do with my fee, as well as the type of loan, fax backs, edocs, etc.

I have turned down 10 signings in the last three days, but gained it back this and for next week, so, for me, my EOM strategy is sticking to MY fees, no matter what...I'm watching my bottom line....

What gets me are those greedy a$$ selfish SS or TC's that try to nickle n dime or give us sad stories on how they are only getting so much for this closing this that or the other, equals bla , bla, bla, bla...I don't want to hear that crap...just yes or no on my fee or tell me straight up how much you're offering so I can tell you yes or hell no...

Just my thoughts...

LMAO.....Roadie....EOM strategy.....that is my every day strategy. It took three years to get there, but I am basically a 20 minute radius from my house these days.

I hear ya, sista

with gas prices, wear and tear on the car, traffic, not to mention taking your life in your hands on the roads it's more worth it to just stay close to home. Otherwise, they REALLY have to make it worth my while.....

Each one this Friday is within 20 minutes of home have documents for 2 already and will have the others by tomorrow. Only thing open now is 9pm and the flood of calls for Friday started today, early bird gets the worm.
