Nations Signature Closers, Inc. Rude and liars.

Very Rude people, liars. Specially Brian. They did not pay my 50 miles round trip and 200+ pages printing fee.

Tell us more! Are you saying they did not do as agreed in your confirmation/assignment order? What changes were there, if any, that you think should bring a different amount to you. What did you do for NSC, for which you deserve to be paid? Give us the full story, or nothing at all.

It was their responsibility to call me and say this signing was assigned to another notary. The signing was at 2 and I got docs about 10;30-11.00. They never called me and say not to go or not to print. And they refusing to pay my fee. 200+pages printed 50 miles round trip and 2 hours of my time. Shame on them.

Are you saying that you went to a signing and there was already someone else there, that it had been reassigned but no one told you?

(You may want to work on your communication skills... If we're having trouble figuring out what you're trying to say, isn't it possible that your clients are, too? I mean this sincerely, as a positive suggestion, not trying to offend.)

I wonder why you confused that much. My English is good enough to understand that the signing was cancelled and assigned to another notary.

I understood what you said

however, you could have avoided that if you have called and confirmed or reconfirmed with BO.

Just this week I had two loans that was scheduled to me and another notary. The BO called me on both asking wth is going on and why two of us were showing up.

No problem with your English, but it's a good idea to

tell more of the story. I'd also be careful about name-calling on this public forum. As many are finding out, postings anywhere on the internet can be very damaging.

Re: No problem with your English . . .

There are different versions of English, for sure. One NY post today had me totally, "What??" And while I'm picking on New Yourkers . . . I heard a newscast and the interviewee said "jaubs."
It took me about a minute to gather the context and realize he actually said "Jobs!"

The new "twitter" style language doesn't help. But good English is something we could all practice up on.

<<"Are you saying that you went to a signing and there was already someone else there, that it had been reassigned but no one told you?">>

This much I gathered from : "They never called me and say not to go or not to print." That, combined with the fact that 220+ pp were printed and a round trip of 50 miles . . . led most, I'm sure to that conclusion - despite the less than perfect "delivery."

The point of your post, Hattie is that you accepted a signing, printed the docs and attempted to present but the job was re-assigned, Yes? Communication, is indeed vital in this business, as in any other.

I imagine that it was communicated to you to do a closing. I also imagine that you (however, lacking in format) communicated that you'd accept. It was not "communicated" back to you that docs were late, or whatever and that another notary was assigned already. Bad all around. Here's my new strategy: I confirm appt with Bo once docs are received. No docs. No signing appt.

Maybe this would have worked in this case (or not); hopefully borrower would have said something like, "Are you the same notary who confirmed earlier?..." That might have clued you in that something was amiss. Clearly the hiring co. is at fault for failing to notify you. For whatever else that might be said about your communication skills, I KNOW you did not drive 50 miles for the fun of it!

My advice would be to send a letter (the power of the pen); but first have a trusted friend or business associate review it First. I am happy to do so, if you'd like. A kind notary here (yes, we have many) offered to help me with my profile - and it needed it! So don't be shy. We're ALL here to learn. It is better to get the facts before jumping to conclusions about firms that should be blacklisted/censored. It's all TOO EASY to make assumptions based on impressions.

8.16 That signing was assigned to me for 8.17. I called the borrower to confirmed the app for 3 o'clock. But the borrower said that he want to sign the docs at 2 instead of 3. I said if I will receive docs timely I will be there at 2 o'clock. I called the signing comp. before print the docs and told borrower wants to sign at 2 o'clock. They said that is fine. When I arrive another notary was there. The borrower said that he called the lender and request another notary for 2 o'clock. I called Nations Signature closers right away. They said it is impossible. The only notary assigned for this signing is you. They promise me to pay for travel and printing fee. Now (after a month) they claim that I never received the docs and they left me a message about cancellation. That is a plain lie. I can prove I received the docs. And I called them before going to signing.

Not that it helps you, Hattie, but some of these cos. are

sending jobs out to more than one ss, and then more than one notary is assigned. I caught one of those the other week, and fortunately let the ss that called me know that a notary had already been assigned. The borrower was the one that told me a notary had already called to confirm the appt. I hate it when the borrowers get caught up in the confusion of the process.
All that aside, you are due a trip & print fee under the circumstances.

Hattie,
If you read my posts about non-payment issues from this company, you will see that Brian lied to me about the title company not paying NLC. I called title, and he was definitely lying. BTW, I do not work for this company any more, and am surprised that anyone does, after their bad reviews here.

I worked for this company and never had a payment issue so far. Except they cut my $20 for a singing.(it was not my mistake) I have 8 year experience' never got a complain from a company or borrower about my job or my English. I will not work for them anymore.

" I will not work for them anymore."

This is wise, Hattie. They are one of the top 5 worst SSs, IMO.

I cut them loose years ago after similar treatment and never looked back. Good riddance.

This is the company whose executive VP or somesuch posts a few years back on NR about what a bunch of whiners and losers NSAs are and that a monkey could do our job.

I don't understand why anybody would work for them unless they didn't know any better or have a very low opinion of themselves.

Re: plus

8.17 I called the borrower (because I received the docs timely) to say I will be there at 2 o'clock. The wife said her husband called the lender for another notary for 2 o'clock. Then I called the signing comp. again to ask if another notary was assigned for this signing. They said only the notary is you. I think the title comp and the signing comp. didn't know that lender assigned another notary.

Probably was the same one who referred to a notary as a "damn coward was that gave us a 1-star rating" Not sure how ANYONE in business could possibly think that disparaging comments about their contractors can get them far at all.

Does anyone not Search the forum comment section on SC?

Free your mind and the Rest will follow . . . the ratings will tell lots - but not All.

BOTTOM LINE.......Whiner, Loser or Monkey.................

unless I sign the thing and put my stamp on it..........IT GOES------------NOWHERE

---and causes SS, Title and Lender money and consternation

Please accept my apology

The "coward" posting SS should not be credited with referring to NSAs as "monkeys." I'd like to think we've all said things at some point that we regret. As defaming as some of the former company's posting remarks are, perhaps they are not in the same category as that lowest of primeval remarks.
