What kind of training have you had? Hopefully you have had training from someone that actually knows what they are doing. I have trained several notaries and I always start them with the worst company, simply because they take newbies and they will get lots of experience with them. They are the worst because they are one of the lowest payers but they do pay on time and also because they want you to fax back half the package before sending it out. I would only recommend using them till you get the hang of things then move on to better companies. Nations Direct, they don't pay the best fees but they do usually pay on time and you will get lots of calls and experience. (just don't use them for to long)

Package yourself
Sonja - you have some experience. When I started, I had a couple of things going for me. Legal work, mortgage and lending experience, and title experience. I also had years of experience pulling deed records and criminal histories. I also hit a few secret shopping gigs before I started as a signing agent, plus I had started doing draw inspections.
Sell yourself. I don't want to sound like a grump, but don't fool around asking those kinds of questions here. You will just get growled at -Write your intro.
