Argh. Okay, it appears the code would have been sent to anyone subscribed to the NewEgg newsletters. The newsletter subscription is tied to the e-mail promos. One possible workaround would be to subscribe to the newsletter:
https://secure.newegg.com/NewMyAccount/Subscriptions.aspx
Once you're on their list, it MAY honor the code that was sent to Newsletter subscribers yesterday. If not, there's still hope. I'm going to buy a handful of the scanners using the code, combined with a volume discount, and will be able to resell them at the NewEgg advertised price.
Let me know if the Newsletter approach does not work and, if you really want one, we'll set aside one from the group I'm buying.

I just subscribed to the newsletter and tried again and received the same message. It did say that it takes 24 hours to be added so I will try again tomorrow in hopes that the code will work.
If not, I would really appreciate taking you up on your offer. If they will allow it, I would even be able to pick it up with the Will Call option. Just a thought...
