POA question

I know how the state wants an acknowledgement to read when someone is signing as POA. However, if the person who is signing for the absent spouse is also on the loan, do I complete two acknowledgements, one for her and one for her absent spouse? The official state wording for the absent spouse is different than the regular wording for an acknowledgement. Had one of these yesterday, but it canceled before docs were sent. I may get this loan again, and just want to make sure I do it correctly.

In Florida, my acknowledgement would state:

Mary Jones, individually and as attorney-in-fact for Tom Jones

You could do two separate acknowledgements, but why make more work for yourself?

Usually the title co. will have instructions on how it should be worded. Some keep it pretty simple, other's have a big long paragraph to be written in cursive exactly as stated. If they are on top of things, all will be worded on the notarial certificate, and you just stamp and sign it. I do one for each person. The husband, and then for the POA husband signing for the wife.
