Relocating

Are there any state of Geogia notaries on the forum? I'm relocating from San Diego to Georgia and am wondering how business is. I will be in Gwinnett county.

GA is an Attorney State Only. You cannot perform closings. There might be certain circumstances stating otherwise. Check with SOS.

I just left San Diego too...

I'm in Vail, AZ southeast of Tucson - My AZ commission is in the works - It'll be effective 11/1/12. I wish you much success in your new endeavor. San Diego is beautiful but really expensive and overcrowded!!!

Good luck in GA, unfortunately an attorney state...

Hope you can build up a nice general notary practice, since you can't do loan signings there without an attorney.
