Remember Monday is a Federal holiday!

Monday is Columbus Day. Federal holiday for RTC, but FedEx/UPS operating normal hours.

Chicago Bob usually gives the holiday heads up, but he must be on vacation again.

I remember one October . . .

It was the middle of the month (after Columbus Day) and I was rushing around trying to get docs printed. I noticed that there was a random email that said, "Remember Monday is a holiday". I paniced! What? I didn't know that! I called up the SS and asked if Monday was a holiday. She said, "No, Halloween is NOT a Federal Holiday. That was for Columbus Day."

Actually I was also caught unaware when borrowers told me last night that this mon. was fed holiday. THEY were caught "unawares" by closings cost on their 3 mil LOC and Refused to sign. They said they weren't going to risk all the title/lender contact people taking off for long weekend when they had questions.
