Sometimes SS makes you feel good.
I had to turn down the same SS three times in a two day period, I was unavailable to do the signings. I told the lady that I was sorry I couldn't do the signings but call me again. She said that she would call me again because I was the only good one up there.
Does anyone have any good stories about SS?
I use small words because I can't spell worth a crap.

You're nice and you're humble... Good job. Buddy.
Have a nice weekend.

Hate to tell you this, Buddy ....
but you're practically the only notary up there in Red Bluff. You're so alone, you don't even have to buy a premier listing on NR, you only need a Basic Membership.
However, it just so happens you're an excellent notary and loan signer (we can tell from your posts on NR! And obviously the SS loves you, too).
BTW, I hope you're not turning down the SS flat when they call with a time when you're unavailable. (unless you're out of town or something) If so, ask if the borrower is flexible, blah blah .... and often they'll say just call the borrower and work something out. Can't imagine there's much of a fast lane in Red Bluff or even Redding (hey, I''ve been there) where people can't adjust their schedule a little to yours.

The CA notary left his house/office with the still warm just printed docs at 11:30 to get to the signing before midnight. This is after he, the borrowers, and the SS waited four hours for docs (originally scheduled for 7:30) He called the SS (yes still on the computer, and still awake at 1:30 Mtn Time) said the signing was completed; he had the borrowers sign critical docs first, and then went over docs. The SS got the guy $250, and he earned every penny. (I would have cancelled) There are some SS that are ALWAYS there, and Susan is one.

Buddy, my most recent "feel good" story about a SS (FASS) is for a signing where the BO's realized right away that the HUD figures were wrong and the appointment had to be re-scheduled. The SS paid me 3/4 of my $XXX fee for trip and print costs.
The BO's requested me for the re-sign appointment. When the SS called, he gave me an extra $25 for the "trouble."
I loved it!!!
