Very odd one. I had one tc cancel for tomorrow, saying

the lender needs a new appraisal now because the property was in the hurricane area. That's a first!

They probably want to make sure the house is still standing...

Yes, I understand that. Sandy wasn't even a Hurricane by

the time she arrived. I instantly thought of the situations in Florida, and remember seeing a form in some of the loan pkgs., stating the property hadn't been damaged in some prior Huricane. It's the lender's call, of course, but I think a drive-by inspection would have been enough.
