I know the veterans will set me straight . . . Is the Trust Certificate date the signing date Or Trust creation date? Or neither?

Just to clarify . . . I'm talking about the revocable trust signatures on the Certificate.
If the TRUST (not the mortgage/DOT) was created 10 yrs ago, the Certificate date would be 2002??

I'll also go compare what's on the DOT as was mentioned. Thank you!

You're on the right track. Frequently, the date of the trust - i.e. when the one currently in effect was created or last modified - is included in the name of the trust, but not always, especially if it's never been changed. Since it's not uncommon for trusts to be changed over time, the trust date is clearly an important detail.
