Wondering what is going to happen to EOM deals

Seems all of Friday and Saturday deals still have not made it to TCs. All NJ Fed Ex and UPS operations are back up today and weekend packages will hit tomorrow. Funding date is today and two were Saturday.

Wonder if these deals will go through.

A fellow notary shipped a UPS package from Friday night - probably went out Sat. As of yesterday it still had not arrived in northern VA. I shipped a FedEx package on Monday morning immediately after I finished the closing - it STILL has not made it to the TC in northern VA. Looking at the tracking, it should get delivered on Thursday.

I just had to field calls the last couple of days from TC's flipping out they wont fund in time. I told them wasnt anything I can do about a hurricane and fedx/ups not picking up. They pick up today, they will get it tomorrow.

I'm sure it's chaotic, but won't be the end of the world!

As important at it is, it is NOT as important as people's lives & safety!
I shipped a pkg. from VA Beach to Richmond that went out Sat. It was a purchase & they insisted on having it Monday. Sure enough, it was delivered first thing Monday morning. Now whether they were at work at the tc or not might be another story, but Fedex delivered it.
IMO Fedex operates like the USPS used to--you know, through rain, snow, etc.
I often think of that movie with Tom Hanks though, where the Fedex plane goes down & he's stranded alone on an island for years. It put things in perspective! :-)

In my closing reports or emails I have told the hiring companies that I have dropped the packages but due to the storm damage in our area Im not sure if things got picked up or not..Lots of road closers, down power lines, rain and power outages..I can't be responsible for that!!

Right, Claudine. We can only be responsible to get them

shipped. The rest is our of our control. ;-)
BTW, how's the new grandbaby?
