dropped the plug
I know. Its dumb . I dropped the plastic plug into my laser jet cartridge. HOW do you get it out? It's down in there. (I refill my own toner obviously) Never had this happen before ! Thanks.

I would not worry too much. I would put a piece of duct tape over the hole and move on.

Re: Brinda you have to be as old as
I am to come up with that idea. My Son just want to know how to season an Iorn Skillett today. I guess some things we know just come with age.

I am only as old as my
latest picture looks.
My job is killing me. We update our pictures way too often.

Re: agree with Brenda....that's what I'd do
I had an extra plug and I did cover the hole. That wasn't the problem... I hear a noise inside the cartridge when I make copies. So i wonder if I will tear up my machine... ugh.

I'm getting an idea here...hold on, it's coming...hold on...
...I can feel it gestating...gimme a minute...it's coming, I can feel it, it's coming, it's coming, it's coming -- YES! THERE IT IS! I'VE GOT IT"!
Why don't you junk that cartridge and use another? It's obvious we're not talking about tossing an expensive OEM item.

Did that once, luckily the cartridge was empty at the time.
I was able to get it out with a pair of tweezers.

The cartrige has a turning mixer inside that spreads the toner evenly across the length of the cartridge the cap is being turned, crushed, mangled when you are using the cartrige. time for a new one.
