omg....notary fees
I literally was just looking at a profile for a notary in my area on the coffee site. Signings 50.00. Inpections 30...and 10 more for more than 40 miles one way...Wow no wonder we get those offers. that is sad, truely sad, that person is also the only premier member on this site in my area....I say let him have them. If he is that desperate for work.. Have at it. I was just shocked. That he publicly put those fees down.

Unfortunately, those notaries are everywhere and they are killing this industry, Yes, it's very sad.

Re: OMG is right!!! Those are ridiculous fees & that person
I've been doing mobile notary services since 2004. I've seen the "low fee" notaries come and go. They eventually discover that they aren't making any money for the time, effort and often discomfort of the service they're providing at a lower fee. So, even though the shoppers may go with them initially, I end up with the business because they can't get anyone else to answer the phone.

What is the average amount you should charge as a notary for a purchase signing in california? I don't want to be considered one of those low-ball notaries.

Start your fees at $150 for a standard e-doc package. Expenses are much higher in Cali.
