techie question re digitaldocs.com

Most of the time I access docs for a particular TC through its secure Web site. Docs are PDF. Occasionally, however, the TC will send me an e-mail that says: Click here for closing documents."

These apparently are not PDF and will not print on my HP P2015, nor can I save them to the desktop in attempt to print them from there. However, they always print on my Brother HL5370.

Only problem is, this Brother printer is always acting up one way or another, which is why I rely on the HP, which never acts up - until it just doesn't print at all. Any clues as to why HP acts like nothing's there? Thanks!

The docs are probably being sent in a PCL language that is higher than your printer supports.
You could try getting a different driver form HP.

Many of those document programs require you to download

the program. Are there any instructions there for you to do that. I know it's that way with Swiftview & E-elynx. Some of those secure sites won't allow the docs to be forwarded. I have one tc that was trying to do that, and the docs were coming through distorted. I have to use the link to access the docs.

I have a Konica Minolta PagePro 5650 and called the company tech yesterday because I couldn't open a PDF file from EverBank in Florida. I tried it on two other Laser printers and finally got it to print on a Cannon Ink Jet. I let the tech log on to my computer to access the printer settings and all he did was go in and tell it to "print image" and not text. It works. Apparently it has something to do with a software glitch according to this tech. I not sure this will help you.....but it's worth looking into....or talking with a tech that knows something about your particular printer.

I'm going to chime in. Recently had Doc's come in ZIP file. I'm not a techie so printed but
had a really hard time printing w/o cut offs and other issues. TC resent file in PDF and
worked just fine. Why?? Thanks for any input.
