Background Checks

Love the idea of a background check......it weeds out any felons that are lurking among us.....however, I do not like the idea of having to provide, and pay for I might add, a different background check to every title company and signing company that sends me business. That will add up to a large sum of money.

Why can't the title companies and signing companies choose five reputable background check companies and require that we order one from any on that approved list?

What do all of you think about this? Could that possibly work? Can we solicit that idea to the title companies and signing companies?

If there is any way to do it, I will support the idea of a group of "approved" BGC companies and we only need one to satisfy everyone. Good idea.

Their requirement of a new BGC even though we already have an existing/current BGC makes me wonder if TC's/SS's are getting a percentage of BGC fees as commissions from said BGC co's. Of course, none of them will admit it, if true. And, their trolls on this forum will likely attack me for even suggesting it. JMHO
