Costco Legal Paper

If you all will remember (for those who buy from them) they changed the 10 ream legal paper to 5 ream boxes. Boy that was a relief for me I have to carry the paper up a very long flight of stairs. Anyway I go in there today and they have the 5 ream boxes on sale for 15.00 and the new legal paper is in 8 ream boxes for $38.00. For those of you who buy paper from them check your local store to see if the legal paper is marked down.

Does anybody know why some costco stores carry legal size and others don't?
The nearest Costo to me is Concord, CA and they don't carry legal paper.

I was in the Northridge Costco around noon today and they did not have any 5 ream cases nor the 8 ream cases. All they had of legal was the ten ream cases and it was $47 something. Bought a case of letter size for 27.99/case of ten reams.

costco paper

I bought 2 boxes of the 5 ream case of "letter" size for $15, that was with an automatic $3.50 off the original price. The legal was not on sale. It sells for $42 in our store.

I was there yesterday, our Costco had the half case letter for $15 (3.50 coupon) or full case letter for $28.

Legal, which is what I was going for was 42. Didn't notice any 8 ream cases but I wasn't really looking.

I just picked up a case of legal from Costco. I brought an old box and transferred the paper one ream at a time from the cart to the box in my car until I got to four reams when I moved the box. When I got home, I transferred the paper from the car to my garage two reams at a time. The only time I had to lift the whole case was at the store to put it in the cart, and, I understand that you can ask them to do that for you if you need help. Hope everyone is having a relaxing Labor Day weekend.
