East West Settlement Services-out of business...

Still trying to collect from July 12th appointment. Phones don't work and I actually got Lori on her cell phone-she promised me that the check would be going out in the next few days. That was 11 days ago.

I know Lori's had problems in the past, too, but she always

made good on her promise to pay. Are you saying she's offically out of business now?

I tried calling her number and it kept ringing once and dropping. I looked back at some correspondence that we had re: the last signing I did for her and she got back to me from her Verizon cell number. I actually asked her if she was in business and she that she closed down. She assured me that I would get paid, but still no check. First for me.

This TOTALLY reminded me of my experience with Paige Tiffany at Eleventh Hour Signings back 2007.

I'm not saying it's the same thing. However, I would strongly suggest you don't give it time to iron out/catch up. Even if she does seem to be a nice person.

It's 5 years later for me and I never got that check. Others can attest to the same.

I still think that if Lori answered the phone & told you

she'll send you a check, she will be good on her word. If I remember correctly, I once waited quite a while for payment & she added extra for the "inconvenience". No guarantee, but I've always known her to be honorable & not one of those whose out to stiff the notary.

I am sorry to hear this. Lori was always great to work with.
Luckily she does not owe me anything.
Hopefully she will make good for everyone
