Hatton and Associates, Inc.
Received a call from Colleen last night which went as follows: Her: Hi, I was wondering if you could help us with a closing this evening, I have the docs ready and evertyhting. Me: Where is it at? Her: (She gives me the location) Me: Yes, I could do it if docs are ready. Her: Great, we usually pay $50 plus $25 for edocs, is that acceptable to you? Me: No, not even close, my standard fee is $@@@. Her: Ok, let me see if I can get that approved and I will call you back. Me: Ok Less then 10 minutes later I received a call back. This was unexpected since company like that usually find a desperate notary willing to work for peanuts and never call you back. Her: I was able to get your fee approved. Are you still available? Me: Yes, of course. Her: Great, I'll send confirmation and docs to you right now. Me: Ok, sounds good. About 15 minutes go by and nothing, so I called her. Me: Hi, just wanted to let you know hat I haven't received anything yet. Her: Yes I know, I'm sending everything to you right now. Me: Ok, thanks. Guess what happened next. Nothing. No confirmation, no Docs and no calls. How rude and unprofessional is that? Usually low-ballers like that don't call you back after you tell them your fee. Never experienced anything like this before. I had a similar incident a while ago where after they agreed to pay my fee, they called me to tell me that the signing was cancelled, although it really wasn't. But at least they called. This company just left me hanging. And they have a 4 star rating on SC? I've said it before and will say it again, shame on those notaries that keep them in business. Apparently, some notaries are willing to accept the $75 fee that they pay.

My profile is correct on all websites and reflects the correct email address. The email address I verbally gave you was correct as well. You sent info to an email address that does not belong to me and I did not give you. The email address you sent info to was probably a valid email address that belongs to someone. Why would you get a failed delivery? Just because it doen't belong to me, it doesn't mean it's not a valid email address. You made the mistake, don't blame me for it. Also, most companies out there call after they send the docs just to confirm receipt or they ask to reply to their message. Had you done that, this wouldn't have happened. Why would I call you back the second time after you tried to law-ball me to begin with? And then, yesterday I found out that this was a 180 page trust package? WOW. I can't believe you had the nerve to offer me $75 for it.
