That's a great question. If you'll notice that Orange

button that says Search, just push that, address your question there and I can assure you, you will get your questions answered in full.

This has been discussed many times in this forum. I suggest doing a search for this topic and read past responses.

What some folks are trying to politely say is............

This really is one of those questions that is asked frequently, so do you think there are hundreds (or more) posters anxious and willing to spend their time and post a long reply to explain it all to you, especially when the orange tab search will show you some answers? One must be realistic and ask for help on some unusual stuff, not the simple stuff that's been covered numerous times, such as "should I get a dual-tray printer?" Others to avoid are XXXX XXXX company, g/b/u? Look up signing services and title companies in Signing Central, BEFORE YOU do work for them! I'll suggest one action for you, in relation to the cards you've passed out, already. Simply call the title company reps and ask them what YOU can do to make them feel comfortable with calling you with assignment offers, and then do what they recommend.

"Consistent business" seems a misnomer in this line of work. n/m

When You are Brand New...

escrow officers are not likely to work with you (in my experience). Sign up with as many signing companies as possible and when you have done at least 500 signings THEN start going to escrow officers.

You won't make as much with signing companies but you WILL gain experience and become a more proficient signing agent, which escrow officers will like.

Want more loan signing business?

I'd delete the part of my profile where I say loan signings are $200 and lower my expectations a bit - I don't know of too many signing agents who get that kind of fee for a single loan signing, let alone those "new to the business"

Re: Want more loan signing business?

Oh, I don't know .... I think he should leave it. Maybe it will startle the bottom feeders (both SSs and notaries) enough to feel a bit ashamed - however briefly - of how little they value what signing agents do....
