How to post a message #

So it links? I just tried twice, once in the body of a message and once in the subject area, neither worked

First, you gotta be signed in, then

when you have the message you want to link open, look for the blue 'link' oval (like orange search)...and follow directions as screens unfold.

Re: First, you gotta be signed in, then

Sorry, I wasn't clear. What I want to do is respond to a message with a link to a previous message number and have that message number show up in blue so someone could just click on in and be taken to the message instead of having to go to the search box and typing it in.

When you have the desired message open on your computer screen, look at the upper right of the message and you will see the message number. Use the copy and paste function on your computer to insert the link into a new message post.

For example, I copied and pasted the message number of the original post Msg #432808
and now it will show up as a link to that message when I post my own message.

Thanks, that seems simple enough unfortunately using an iPad I can't isolate the message# from the subject when copying.
Wonder if this will work:

Yes, it worked!

Next time I'll just erase all the other copied subject matter.

Re: Yes, it worked!

You can also just type in "Msg" and "#" and then the message number, but the key is that it MUST be in the following format: Msg #432818

If you vary from that format then it will not link.

I had previously tried

Message # thinking that would work and you're right it didn't
