Mortgage Connect

Looks like they were bought out. Anyone have info? They recently sent me a new contract that basically wants my entire notary history including how many of several different loan closings I conducted in the past 30/60/90/months and how many years, and per year. Who can break this down into each of these categories. They want to know who else I close for. They are requesting I send them all my notary information again along with a 10 page contract signed (and require I increase my E&O).

Although they pay on a monthly basis and always on time, they pay sub-par and they always require fax backs and don't want to pay xtra for them. I only accept when I have nothing scheduled. I don't think I will get anymore calls from them when they realize I have not returned their new contract.

I think I would be very happy to not get their calls.

Let it go....every door that closes causes another to open. Better prizes behind the upcoming ones.

I have learned in this biz that the co's. that demand the

most pay the least & are usually PIA's. It's tough enough that we have extra hoops to jump through these days, but this kind of thing just isn't worth it, IMO.

I've had some agencies wanting to know my client list. I simply wrote back and said my client list and work product was confidential and prefer not to disclose this information. I then provide my experience in the documents closed. IMO they don't need anything more than that, do you?

When they ask for references, I give all the TC's that are

now out of business for one reason or another, providing I worked for them. I can still name names of those I worked with - and still in my database. I don't give anything current except other SS's.
