Moving to Arizona...

Just thought I'd let every one know we are moving to Vail, AZ (SE of Tucson). We will be transient for awhile at the Holiday Inn Suites by Tucson Airport for the month of Oct. while our house is in escrow, then we will move into our new home in Vail, AZ the end of Oct/first of Nov.

I have the AZ Notary Manual and plan to study during the transient stage, then establish my Loan Signing Business there.

Good luck, Barbara!

Hope you like the heat. You're going at a good time -- when summer's over. I grew up in Tucson.

Welcome to Arizona, Barbara. I get calls for Vail ( 30 miles one way) all the time and if schedule permits I accept. Guess what happens ten minutes after I accept? I get a call for the same time in my own back yard. Again, welcome to Vail, Arizona. If I can help with anything let me know.

We are having a really rainy monsoon this year!

Welcome to AZ! Glad that you sold your home in SD.

Re: We are having a really rainy monsoon this year!

Just spoke to my sister in Tucson this evening and she said the same thing about the rain... but it's that time of year... Wink I grew up there, too, so here's a little advice: don't ignore the signs that say "dangerous in flood season", even though they are dry washes most of the year around. I've seen cars try to drive through some of those usually dry "arroyos" and get washed away!

I think you'll love it there, though. Vail is a little higher altitude than Tucson, which is a little higher than Phoenix, so it's not quite as hot on average.

Best of luck with your whole relocation and transition!

I like Vail. I spent some time there, and other areas of Tucson about 15 years ago. I loved visiting Colossal Cave.

That'll be a big change from San Diego!

Best wishes, Barbara. I know you'll do well. If you can do this biz in CA you can do it anywhere hands down.

Hope you love your new digs.

All the best, and stay in touch with us.

May your moving go well. And may your business go even better there. That is my prayer for you.
