NLC Pyment received
For those still awaiting payment for late June, and part of July here is how I got paid. I spoke to Brian everytime I called NLC. 1st call last month he told me the check was being "processed" and it would be sent soon.( This was not true.) 1st call this month he told me Notaries were not getting paid because Value America had not paid NLC. (Pretty sure this was not true). Next day I called Value America. Spoke to Erin in accounts payable. She told me a check covering the date of my job, June 26th, was sent to NLC on July 28th. She even told me the check #. I call NLC, and get Brian again. I tell him what Value America told me, and he said they were wrong. I told Brian that I beleive them, not him, and if payment is not sent to me immediately, I would report that here. He had said he knew there were complaints already on Notary Rotary, and did not seem to care. I then e-mailed NLC's billing dept, and told them about ny conversations with V.A. and Brian. Next thing I know I am sent an e-mail from NLC's regional manager, Stephany Ireland, who apologized for what I had been through, and she got the message to billing to pay me. I then got the e-mail NLC sends when they pay you, and I received the check in the mail today. Hope ths helps others get paid, but remember this company has a strange payment policy to begin with, and you won't get paid before the alloted time, no matter what.
