I receive emails like that daily from many companies. All of them get deleted after a quick read. The reason is simple: I pay from $100.00 to $300.00 for a single listing on sites and it gets my phone ringing. These same companies have never ever solicited to me. And my belief is if a $14 listing is going to get my phone ringing, why is it seasoned "listers" have never heard of them. A good friend of mine has multiple listings from several companies and she is the busiest and most profitable notary I have ever known. I think these inexpensive companies are trying to make money off of us with no concern as to our profitability. They are likely hoping we will pay the $14, and when our phones are not ringing from the listing say, "oh well, it was only $14".

I got it too - didn't even read it. Marked as SPAM and deleted.

I believe I was a member for a short while, when I did GNW. Calls to me would start out with "how much will you charge.......?" Folks would find a list of local Notaries Public, and go down the list to find out who would charge the least number of dollars. All too often, the caller really did not understand much about what needed to be done for them, but just "need a couple of papers signed." Too much frustration for far too little moolah, in my opinion.
