Paper Sale at Office Max

1 case of their Boise X-9 letter size paper for $0.01 per case with MaxPerks rewards.

Pay $43.99 and get $43.98 back in MaxRewards credits which expire in 90 days; limit 2 cases.

My only issue with this paper is the last cases I bought jammed on my Brother 5370DW.

The paper, however, works fine with my Brother's 8480DN and 8860DN.

Janet also posted this Office Max paper jammed her Brother 5370DW.

Just a warning because this is a very good deal and it could be that Janet's and my 5370DW are the problem and not the paper.

I picked up a case today.

I am using this paper now - have lots of it and no problems with my Brother 5370 DWT. Interesting, no?

I could just have a bad batch of paper that doesn't agree with my particular 5370DWT. Glad to know it's really not a problem for other signers. Thanks for your response.

I bought some paper from Sam's for the 5370.

The price on office max is so good I will probably go back tomorrow and buy a couple more cases.

I am going to have so much paper in my condo I might look like a "hoarder"LOL.

Seriously, I have bought paper cheaper in the last 3 years, because of the deals suggested on notrot website, than I bought in the previous 7 years.

I just looked in the owners manual online for the new 5450 and saw that they has NAMED recommendations for paper. Xerox Bus. 4200, which I loaded some of today, and Hammermill Premium specifically mentioned. Check your owners manual (also avail. online, but I'm sure you know that) for the 5370 to see if they have recommendations.

I think it was my printer. I always buy the cheapest paper I can (no recycle paper) and I almost never have had a problem in 10 years.

Thank you for your impute, because I really appreciate all the info you give us "Brother owners."

Joan

If I partner with you, and you with I, then who do you think we would recommend to others? Just each other.

Just for the record, I don't own any Brother printers, so maybe it IS the printer and not the paper. (My primary is an HP 2430dtn.) When I bought that paper, I thought the jamming might be humidity that was getting to the paper, but I never seem to have that problem with the paper I buy at Costco.

Anyway, glad to hear that it hasn't been a problem with other printers!
