Printing Help

Good Afternoon, I have a HP Laserjet P2055d and use duel trays (1 for legal and 1 for letter) when I print my packets I select the "choose paper source by pdf size" and most of the time I have no issues, but some times I will get a packet that has 1 or 2 pages of odd size pdf not the standard 8.5 x 14(legal) or 8.5 x 11(letter) but a 8 x 13 or somthing. That one page causes my packet to stop printer and I have to select "use availible paper size" to get it going again. Is there a way to make it automaticaly select a paper source for these odd sized pages? Thanks

Not of which I am aware. Mine does the same thing.

Happens to me sometimes too. I cancel the print then find the page that is causing it and just print that page separate. A couple times the entire pkg was that way and I called whoever sent it to me and had them re-send it correctly. They will try and say it is me that the problem is with, but I convince them it is on their end, not mine. Frustrating at times, I know.

Same thing happens with the Brother printer I'm using, but I can hit to "go" button & it will print. It doesn't happen often, but it does slow things down. Not good for those who hit the "print" button & walk away.

You are not alone. I see the same thing. Only way I have is to print that page or pages seperately telling the printer to print them on legal size.

You can tick the boxes "chose pages by size" and "fit to page" and that should help.

When you run into odd sized pages, you can also print those odd sized pages to PDF and select the page sizes.

BCHH's HUDs are always printed on a weird size, so I can count on needing to fix this periodically.
