Quicken
Are Quicken loans behind???? Usually when you receive the confirmation, the docs follow-up within the next ten minutes. Got the confirmation last night around 6:00, still haven't received docs. That's very unusual for TS.

Don't know, I used to get a LOT of these and haven't gotten even one in over a month. Something is up.

I get Quicken from Title Source. Have not had a Quicken in a month from them - just Chase.

They have called me a few times recently but I have already been booked. They called me late last night at 8:30 PM - booked a Quicken with me for Friday morning. They told me on the phone and it was also noted on the confirmation that I am to be sure to arrive promptly, as the LAST NOTARY HAD CANCELLED/NO SHOWED TWICE.
I don't know if it was the same notary that did it twice or two different notaries that each did it, but wow! A link to the docs was sent at 10:45 PM the same night.

They are kicking some out to JMT. I had one booked through TS, called BO on way to the signing, and there was another Notary already there, from JMT. I was only 2 blocks from home so I took the print only fee and had a beer.... My 1st double booked.

I have had TS hire me for edocs and then when I get to the appointment there is an overnight package already there which includes a borrower copy and signing copy.

I've had three double-booked this year, one just the other night. (sunday). Luckily, I had already been at the signing for 10 mins. before other notary showed up. That would have really pi??ed me off, if I were the other notary. Hope he got some compensation out of it.
The Quicken loan turns out is suppose to be signed in Texas. They finally got me the docs and I was printing as I called borrower to confirm this morning for the 10:00. He said he was in Texas. Sheesh!!!

TS will pay for the printed docs. I've already spoken with them about it. Had I actually gone to the signing location, they will pay a print and travel fee which is half the agreed upon signing fee.

Has TS cut their fees? Wanted me to close for $95, but I always received $xxx. Scheduler stated closing was 12 miles from me. I rebutted that it was 30+ miles one way and I needed $xxx. I enjoy working with TS, but I can't travel that far and close for less than what they previously paid me. I had to decline their offer. Not sure how they calculate distance/mileage.

they will only pay $85 in my area no matter the mileage. they quote $65 plus $20 edocs. by the by years ago JMT did all Quicken. it's funny to see things come full circle and continue on the merry go round of title cos. and ss's and sad to say very reduced fees.

TS is my lowest paying client and I will only accept Quicken from them (not Chase). And I will only accept in my zip code. The Quickens can still be profitable for me due to their unique nature - no late docs, print only one copy, and very quick appointments. But I can only do that within a very limited travel area. I also will not accept them during prime evening hours because I keep those slots open for my better paying clients.

i agree, quick and easy and will accept if very nearby but I only get the out of state properties closing here as the notary vendor management contact is under the incorrect assumption that NY is an attorney only state. i have contacted a few people in regard to this and get no where. sa la vie.

They seem to be using SS only now, at least around here. It has been about a month since I received one directly from them. I turn down the SS typically. They don't want to pay enough. If they meet my fee, I consider it. (depending on which one it is).
