Re: 140 page faxbacks

I spoke to them this morning. They need to fund tomorrow. So, I will just make sure that I get it to FedEx in time for it to go out today. Then no fax backs will be needed.

Good news, Shoshana. I've never heard of faxing

back 140 pages, even for funding. That would have taken up a lot of your time.
I routinely fax (or scan & email now) critical docs for funding, but never the whole pkg.

I agree That's a whole lot of work. Honestly, if they said I had to do it regardless, I'd have given it back. That many pages have to be faxed in batches, sometimes, they jam, etc. It would take hours. Just not worth it.

Look into a really good scanner. Pricey, but well worth it and will pay for itself in no time. I have the ScanSnap.

You can scan 50 pages at a time and it automatically converts into a pdf file. 50 pages scans within a few minutes.

I have the ScanSnap 1300i - newest version in the 1300 series, supposed to be faster but what's a few nano seconds. I love it. Scans straight to PDF and email....

Lots of info on YouTube on these scanners....see the demo if your stores do not carry. Amazon Prime is where I got mine.

Re: Good news, Shoshana. I've never heard of faxing

I recently bought an Epson scanner that was on sale. I just love it, and it's so much better than faxing. I also got an email ad the other day that Brother now has a scanner, too. They're all in about the same price range -- $400, and a little less on sale.

Was This A Chase Investment Property?

I had never seen full fax backs either and I have had two Chase Investment Properties lately that required a full fax back for funding. The title company paid me a very nice fax back fee for doing so though.

Re: 140 page faxbacks

I agreed to do it once. The real estate agent was at the signing and knew a person at the local title company and agreed to take me there. The title company let us fax back the entire package for free. I lucked out on that one.

Re: 140 page faxbacks

Think about the charges you are charged when you need something fax if you used Kinkos or Office Max. They charge $2.00 per sheet, ,that is $280. However, maybe you should charged $1.00 per page.
