Why not post what they pay. I ahve been doing signing with them for about 8 years and they still pat $100. I wanted to raise to $125 if they will pay that.

Ron, just send a notice of your fee increase to vendor mgmt
Call in a week and make sure they've updated your file.
I raised my fees in 2010 and they had a hard time getting the message, but I still get regular, very steady work from them without payment problems.
There's one division--I wish I could recall what I used to use to distinguish them--they used to offer $60-80 for refis with e-docs. I blocked the number and never hear from that division anymore, but the other divisions are typically great to work with, and pay very well.
There are some of the drawbacks of the mega-companies (no after-hours support, sometimes AWOL docs, and it's hard to reach a person) but those problems aren't a huge percentage of the work I get from them, so I make up for it--and I do track profitability on a client-by-client basis.

ha, they called me offering dirt cheap amount saying that is the most they pay now. I turned it down. I mean it was like 70 or 75. I for get, it was a while ago.

Totally depends on the division.
Some I won't touch, others meet my fees (ranging from $125 to $200) without difficulty. I don't have payment issues with them either--usually 2 weeks.

Re: To clarify, that can vary with add'l travel/faxbacks/etc.
For me: e-signings start at $175 within 15 mile radius; refi/purchase vary. For example, had an edoc refi w/i 15 miles at $150. Doing edoc refi today for $225. Distance is more than an hour's drive (one-way) away via 2 lane country road.
Have to take all components into consideration.

My understanding is they call the cheapest people first.
If you live in a highly populated area, chances are there is more competition.
It's also my understanding that they've had many issues with quality control because the cheapest people are usually the least experienced and least qualified. I've had many loan officers at Chase mention that they stopped using ServiceLink because of this.
They have a consistent and steady stream of business and pay in a timely manner, the downside is you have to invoice.

Depends on the area
they will not pay me $100 and I am not in the boonies or the biggest city so someone in my area is doing them for real cheap. sad, sad, sad.

Re: Depends on the area
Well, I have been getting $100 for 7 or so years. I sent them a email to change my fee to $125 with edocs. I will see if they continue to call because of my long time association with them and quality work.

Don't count on it, Ronald. There is not much loyalty on the part of the hiring entities. Bottom line, is THEIR bottom line. I see more loyalty with SS's than I do with the bigger title companies. You are, after all, just a vendor number.
