The President visits VA Beach tomorrow
Debated whether this belongs in politics, this is just a traffic warning for those in VA Beach.

Not Politics--traffic issue!! The event isn't far from
where I live & the major roads are going to be backed up for miles. I have a signing at 11 in Norfolk & it's probably going to be a nightmare trying to get anywhere tomorrow. For anyone who is familiar with the area, our traffic is heavy most of the time but flows well. I'm glad I'm not booked too heavy at this point. I should have taken the day off & gone to the Outer Banks! ;-) LOL

Hope he visits someplace looking for a new job soon.
The " food stamp president ".........should be ashamed of himself for encouraging reproduction without responsibility and laziness in general.

Once again, note that it is always the rightwing fringe...
... who deliberately ignore the posting rules for Discuss Work and Leisure to post their political sewage here. Never the progressives, only the rightwingers who feel that the rules don't apply to them. And then, after the post, you always have the chorus of rightwing cohorts who jump on the bandwagon. They have no respect for the owner of the forum.

Some of these responses are truly disgusting. For the profession's sake, let's hope these single-digit IQ neanderthals are able to exercise more self-control while performing their notarial duties/functions than they are when polluting NT.

OMG Stop! Take it to JP
I thought more of you that that, Cheryl. BTW, it was very thoughful of those who posted a traffic alert.

Why? she consistently posts stuff here when it belongs else
where....and states it is so but....
the traffic alert is appropriate though

Traffic alert should have been in the subject line!!! It's
controversial from first glance! Of course you're going to have those that can't help themselves (And how about the holier than thou that have no problems when THEY do it, but boy oh boy, when you do it you're a lowlife rightwinger! "OOOps, I meant to put that in JP" does not make it right!)
Personally, I don't want to hear about politics or religion on our board. It has no place here!!! We all have a right to our own beliefs, and honestly it is none of my business what your religious/political affiliation is, but the real bottom line is I don't care how you feel about either!!! Live and let live...especially in a professional forum.
Hmmph...just my personal opinion and perspective!

Traffic wasn't bad at all. Thankfully, I was headed in the
other direction most of the day. IMO the responses here are as disgusting as what's going on in politics these days. Why is it that everyone loves labels, name-calling, defamation, etc. IMO we are only degrading ourselves as Americans. The forum rules are clear on discussing religious/political issues. This is not the PLACE for that!
