labels

We have two companies that do not send return mailing labels. Is there a way to print labels in the computer without signing up with UPS and giving them your billing information?

Not of which I am aware. I signed up with FEDEX and UPS, which also means they ship supplies to me, at no cost. Printing a label in FEDEX is very easy. UPS, not so easy, but I've done very few for UPS. There is a point during the UPS label creating process where you indicate your account info, but that is separate from the billing identifier, so you are not billed. That made me a little leery on my first label experience. Not matter which company you use, at some point in the label creation, you'll need to indentify the party to be billed. Be certain to enter there the account number of the SS or TC (as appropriate), and NOT your account info! Spooky at first, but it works out well.

I hand-write waybills, but with UPS I put in the client as both sender and receiver because I've had MULTIPLE instances where UPS back-charged me because they didn't read the entire shipping label.

" I've had MULTIPLE instances..." which is exactly why I

refuse to even open an account with them. I do the same thing as Jessica. That's one thing I learned on this site. And I thank those that shared it with us.

And make sure you get those labels from a dropbox.

I have heard that they can still track you down if you get blank labels direct from UPs or Fedex.

I don't see how they can track you down if you use the client as the sender and receiver??

Re: And make sure you get those labels from a dropbox.

They know the tracking numbers of the labels they send you, if you order them through your own shipper account.
