Yep, that's correct. I got a GNW call at 1:55 eaaaarrrrrlllllyyy this morning from a guy who needed a POA for a car-refinancing. Whatever. This couldn't wait until my POSTED hours of 8AM? Oh well, at least people are calling for my services, it could be worse. Anyway, have a great day out there. Mine started about 7 hours ago!

Years ago, when I had a home-based business, which included being a notary, we were awakened by knocks on the door and a woman calling my name. My husband was very upset and very suspicious. As I opened the door, he was behind me with a weapon. It was a customer I barely recognized who had forgotten that her daughter needed a power of attorney notarized in order to leave the country. My husband still mentions that situation. Meanwhile, the customer has brought me much notary and other work. When she sees me in the store, she hugs me. She often brings up how I helped her at 2:00 AM years ago.

Wow! Well, I guess my situation could have been like yours and the guy just showed up at the door. I don't think that would have worked out very well for him, though.
-Anyway, we conducted his notary work over lunch, and he was a nice enough guy, a little quirky (sp?) though.
