Advice please about a Quit Claim Deed in Georgia

I got a call to notarize a QCD for a property in Georgia. Its dated March 29, 2013. I would only be notarizing the sig of the grantor (and would note that). I haven't had much experience with these docs, so I'm just wondering, if I correct the date, would this be legal. Thanks for any help.

Leave the date alone...have Grantor sign

and you notarize the date he's in front of you. You don't change the date on the document.

Two things: (1) don't forget to ask about witness requirements for Georgia - you may need to line up a second witness (and I always charge a witness fee for that); and (2) don't forget to make sure you can do this - they may need to have a GA attorney on the phone (GA being an attorney-only state).
