Anyone else experiencing cancellations?

Three of my favorite SS have booked for this week and then cancelled. I've been promised the re-schedules, but one was final credit check that made interest rate go up at the last minute. Hope that before Friday I can refill those slots.

This has been the worst month for cancellations for me. I've had 9 cancellations so far for one reason or another. Three of which the co-borrower was not able to understand English. Luckily, some of the others were rescheduled and the borrowers requested me directly.

I am hoping month-end picks up as this month has been really, really slow.

My cancellations this month are typical for my state...first installment taxes come out in April due in May and since most companies require they are paid off HUD due to closeness in due dates, things can change last minute if taxes changed from last year. I have had 4 cancellations this week so far due to this.

They will know the exact amount for 2nd installment due in Nov so this doesn't become an issue then.

Yes. I have some purchase closings with cancellations due to appraisals, etc. (they will call me for the reschedule) - and I have turned back closings from the lowballers and nonpayers. Lots of those calls this month.
