Are there any MO notaries online?? Have question

about "Signature by Mark". I read the MO handbook and found the specific requirements. IL requires 2 witnesses but am not seeing that for MO. Is this correct? Thanks

Notarize according to your notary laws. If IL requires two witnesses when notarizing "Signature by Mark" then you need two witnesses.

This isn't like witnesses needed on deeds or mortgages which are recording requirements of the various states.

Thanks Sylvia, however I am just looking for information

about MO laws. I will not be the one performing the notarization as I am in IL and this needs to be done in MO. Sorry I didn't state that.

Dennis Broadbooks is in MO - if you don't get an answer here you may want to send him a PM.
