If you are in the vicinity of Birmingham, AL tomorrow, 4/27 around 7 am, stop by O'Henry's Coffee Shop in Homewood. Coffee is on me.

I'd like to get a group of Alabama notaries together to plan a community service project for National Notary Day, in November. Tomorrow is an opportunity to exchange contact information and project ideas. I already contacted Beth Chapman's office, AL Secretary of State.

Update

I'm sitting here laughing out loud ad I read your replies. First, thank you for the positive comments. This is something that I'm passionate about. I guess a little to passionate to not realize that 7am is considered by many to be "too #%!* early". Only one person responded in time.

I learned a couple of things from this experience so far:

1) Social Media & the Internet may not be the best method to reach my target audience (unless they're signing agents actively marketing their loan signing business).

2) 7am is too early.

Future Meetups will be in the afternoon.

Any suggestions on how to get the word out? I only emailed a few NotRot members directly. Thanks for your input.
