My phone has been dead. I had 4 closings for the whole week and nothing for today or tomorrow. What is going on here in NC?

Hopefully I will get calls besides the lowballers that call.

It does not take much now to put you out of business. If I were to have 2 bad months in a row by number 3 resumes are out. 2009 woke me up.

I had a company call twice, told them I would accept the closings, and then assign them to someone else. Made me livid! I'm done about 8 for the month as well with nothing on the books for tomorrow. Hears to hoping for a better May.

I can't remember the last eom I went into without anything on the books, but that's where I am. Lots of, "I'll try to get that fee approved," even though my fees haven't increased...sigh

Same here

Been a slow start. But I just picked up two Closings tonight for more than my fee of $125 from my best client. But only have one scheduled for tomorrow. I'm pretty sure my phone will ring nonstop prolly tomorrow morning. I'm banking on last minutes cuz these notaries in my area have been accepting $50-70 Closings. I'm hoping they get all booked up and then I can swoop in and snag my fee and more for last minute and overbooked low fee notaries.

Hope you're right! I only have one for tomorrow too. Adding up my mileage this week alone, can't see how anybody could make $50-$70 work. Just not Sustainable.

And you make a good point:

It takes me essentially same amt of time to handle 1 package as 3. Might as well just print & drop off altogether. So . . . if I Wait, I'm only fussing over 2 deals while the $60 notary has been hovering over twice that for same fee. Who got the better deal in the end?

cuz most of them are PT notaries. The ones Ive talked to have full time jobs so they really dont care. Its just extra money to them. They dont have that CEO mentality.

3 day RTC, in order for the loan to fund this month. Any loans signed on Friday, 4/26/13, that have a 3 day RTC, will fund May 1st. Friday might be very quiet.

May 1st.. What world includes a Sunday with RTC. Sign 26th they have till 30th to cancel. Only investment properties have till 30th after today (same day funding)

Was gonna say usually (according to my last three months) this day will be busy for me since every friday is usually busy and especially at end of month. But yea you are right about last day to fund, why did I think this month had 31 days???? lol I can never function properly after a good workout!!!
