I just download an app for for android that allows me to print texts called "email my text sms." If you want to buy it, be sure to read what it will or will not do. It worked for me and may solve your problem.

The texts will stay on your phone unless you delete them.

The other way to lose the texts are to lose the phone and not have them backed up on a computer file or email. In that case, maybe your cell phone provider can help with any stored on the system in the last XXX days.
