Does anyone know who this number is? 412-776-1259

This person called at 7:00 central time. I was sure the caller stated it was ServiceLink. I was asked to do a closing an hour and a half away for tonight. Borrower has docs. She did not send a confirmation, so I have no idea where to go and she is not answering her phone. The message does not say "ServiceLink". I called and listened to her voicemail four times and can not understand her name.

I checked on "Who called me?", but the number is unknown. I feel badly for borrowers waiting for me tonight and have me not show up. I was considering driving to the city in hopes that the person will call me back, but decided I don't want to make a wasted trip. Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

Re: could be servicelink. have you tried any other SL numbers?

I just get the message, "Thank you for calling ServiceLink. Our offices are currently closed. Please call back during normal business hours."

Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I've tried the numbers on past orders. No one is answering. It is 10:00 there now.

The name sounds

The name sounds like Renden Lavelle. Does that even sound familiar to anyone?

Even if I leave now, I won't get there until 10:30 tonight

and back until after 1:00 am. I feel bad for the borrowers waiting for nothing; but unfortunately, it's kind of hard for me to go there if I don't have a confirmation telling me where to go. I left five messages and waited for two hours. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

I would never take a signing an hour and half away from me....not even for $300...its just too far for me to travel and especially that late at night...and what if after all the driving up there the borrower for some reason still didnt sign??? Gotta rethink your options..

I was supposed to be there at 8:30. Would have been back by 11. They pay me VERY well to drive there. I charge full price regardless if the borrowers sign, so it doesn't matter to me if they don't.

If you don't have a confirmation...you don't have anything...literally and figuratively.

I wouldn't open the garage door without one. Don't think you will either.

It's the scheduler's fault for not sending you one.

Yes, you feel for the borrowers....but you can't fix what you can't control.

They should know that without a confirmation...it's like asking you to start a fire with

paper and a magnifying glass..only to find out it's cloudy.

One other thought is they found someone closer and cheaper

and didn't bother to let you know. Guess you'll find that out tomorrow. It's happened to all of us. They call in a panic, we accept, they make 1 more phone call and bam, they found a cheaper one. No common courtesy to let anyone else know that. Hope this isn't the case, but very well could be.

Just to clarify. She approved my fee and send she was

sending it right over. I told her to tell the borrowers I would be there between 8:30 and 8:45. It was not just a case where she said "are you available?".

That is a ServiceLink number. jojo, see PM

Like jojo, I don't mind driving the long distance if they're willing to pay my fee and that full fee is paid whether borrowers sign or not. However, as someone else posted, if I don't receive confirmation, then I don't have that assignment. If no confirmation is received within 10-15 minutes of initial phone call, I'll call or email hiring party to let them know confirmation has not been received and there is no commitment until I receive confirmation.
