For NC Notaries...Has anyone seen these letter? WTH?

Really, a phone call at that beginning of a signing to call me if you need me and this is the letter that goes to loan file.

ATTORNEY REVIEW LETTER
This is to certify that ______________ acting as a licensed North Carolina Attorney, performed the followingactions in regardsuo the above referenced transaction,
> Reviewed title work and title commitment in conjunction with the loan
documents.
> Met with the borrowers to answer questions regarding the real estate transaction.
> Presented, identified, and explained the loan documents.
> Supervised the execution of the loan documents to ensure that the parties have
properly executed the loan documents.
> Forwarded the executed loan documents to the title company.
> Reviewed the closing statement, title commitment, new mortgage and pertinent
documents in preparation for recording.
> Reviewed the closing statement and documents in preparation for disbursement.
I hereby certify that I have performed the above referenced tasks in accordance with the requirements of the state of North Carolina.

It's an Attorney Review Letter...the attorney reviewed the package, your work and has forwarded or "approved" the package. Does not concern you what so ever as a notary.

Why? Did you have to sign something stating that

attorney did this (whatever it was)?

If you didn't have to state something you didn't know about, how would that concern you? Sometimes you just let sleeping dogs lie.
